SANDPOINT — Attention youth soccer players in Sandpoint: If you haven’t already signed up, there are still spots available for the 2016 Strikers Soccer School, Sandpoint’s annual June soccer camp.

Led by popular Major Indoor Soccer League defender Evan McNeley of the San Diego Sockers, the week long skills camp features plenty of top-notch coaching and instruction from Bulldog girls coach and former Gonzaga player Conor Baranski, Strikers head goalkeeping coach Alan Brinkmeier, and Strikers Director of Coaching Rick Mullins.

McNeley, a teammate of camp founder and Sandpoint soccer great Brian Farber at both Oregon State and for the Sockers, has been a coach of the camp nearly every year. This year he’s bringing current Sockers’ teammate and professional goalie Chris Toth to the camp.

Camps include: Rec League Camp (ages 5-18) from 9-11 a.m. on Tuesday through Thursday for $75; Premier Camp (U8-U10) on Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for $125; Premier Camp II (U11-U13 on Monday through Friday from 2-4 p.m. for $125; and the High School Camp on Tuesday through Thursday, from 5-7 p.m. for $20.

All campers except high school will receive a camp shirt and soccer ball.

The camp is an awesome way to have fun, learn some soccer skills, connect with the coaches, and make new friendships with the players you’ll be on the field with this fall.

To register, visit www.sandpointsoccer.com, or you can stop by Sandpoint Sports in Ponderay and fill out a hard copy registration form.

Campers can also register prior to their first session at Farmin-Stidwell fields.
