Sandpoint hammers Stillwater in nonleague tune-up

SANDPOINT — The Bulldogs scored early and often, dominating Stillwater Christian of Kalispell to the tune of 9-0 in nonleague boys soccer on Thursday at War Memorial Field.

“We knocked the ball around really well tonight,” said Bulldogs head coach Adam Tajan. “I liked our attitude and focus throughout the entire game.”

Noah Hastings, Cole Baillie and Dawson Mulder each scored two goals, as the Bulldogs (3-2-1) dominated the action from the first whistle, posting their first shutout of the season.

The Bulldogs now turn their attention to a road game at Lakeland on Tuesday, kicking off 4A Inland Empire League play.
