SANDPOINT POLICE

July 26

An officer was unable to locate three dogs reported to be off leash at Lakeview Park on Ella Avenue at 5:24 a.m.

A female sleeping in her vehicle in the 600 block of Ella Avenue was issued a verbal warning at 8:01 a.m. regarding her suspended license and camping inside city limits.

Information was relayed to law enforcement on Division Avenue at 8:44 a.m.

An officer contacted a male sleeping in his running vehicle at City Beach at 10:43 a.m.; he was advised to turn the motor off.

Shania M Truitt, 20, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 1100 block of Larch Street at 11:08 a.m. on two felony and two misdemeanor warrants out of Bonner County.

An adult female was given a courtesy transport to the crisis center from the city at 11:57 a.m.

After a report of a possible collision between a vehicle and a bicycle in the 200 block of Fourth Avenue at 2:59 p.m., officers and EMS were unable to locate anything.

A case was assigned to cover a drug investigation on Lake Street at 3:35 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a reported drunken driver in the 200 block of Cedar Street at 4:47 p.m.

A suspicious incident was reported in the 500 block of Cedar Street at 5:08 p.m.

Maurice E. Long, 47, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 800 block of N. Division Avenue on a Bonner County warrant at 6:24 p.m.

Isabel Boeni, 50, of Sandpoint, was cited in the area of Third Avenue and W. Superior Street at 7:17 p.m. on charges of driving without privileges and no insurance.

An officer advised at 7:31 p.m. that a male seen behind a building in the 200 block of Division Avenue had permission to be there.

An officer advised a vehicle backed into another one in the 200 block of Second Avenue at 8:07 p.m. and then fled the scene.

An officer was unable to locate a male with several warrants reported in the area of N. Lincoln Avenue and Cedar Street at 9 p.m.

Report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident ini the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue at 9:50 p.m.

Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue at 10:15 p.m.

David N. Bolender, 46, of Sandpoint, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of Hemlock Court on a probation violation and was cited on a charge of malicious injury to property after kicking in a door.

Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 1100 block of Chestnut sTreet at 10:24 p.m.

Douglas A. Knight, 36, of Sandpoint, was arrested on a battery charge in the 1200 block of Hickory Street at 11:05 p.m.

July 27

John R. Wilson, 23, of California was arrested in the 100 block of First Avenue at 1:16 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
