Guaranteed Rates opens doors in area

SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce welcomed Guaranteed Rate - Lee Hardin to the organization with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 17.
Lee Hardin has been in the mortgage business since 2000 and, 17 years later, has millions of dollars of closed loans to his credit. He relocated to Sandpoint from Chicago with his family in 2007 and, after working with local banks doing mortgages, decided to return to being a broker.
“I love that in the role of a broker I can offer my services in a more personal way and provide the community lower interest rates and fresh technology,” Hardin said said.
Guaranteed Rate - Lee Hardin offers a variety of residential home loans: jumbo, VA, conventional, FHA, USDA, renovation and commercial. It’s truly a local business, with local appraisers and in-house underwriters.
“I am inspired every day with my ability to change people’s lives by finding the right loan program to meet their needs,” Hardin said.
Hardin said he knows the process of buying a home can be confusing, especially for the first time.
“The most important thing a customer can do is to ask questions until they feel comfortable they have a good understanding of the process and what will be required of them,” he added.
