Conversation announces annual picnic date

Conversation artists will hold their annual picnic at the Dover City Park on Wednesday, July 12.

At the picnic, set for 5:30-7:30 p.m., Anna Largen will bring essential oils for sharing aromas which create clarity and well-being. Extra oils will also be on hand to keep those pesky mosquitoes at bay. If interested in making your personal blend, there is a $5 fee.

The picnic is open to the public. Families welcomed.

Bring what you want to share to eat and drink.

Park rules: no alcohol, no glass, pets on leash. Bring blankets and chairs. Directions: Highway 2 west to Dover; exit at Dover city street entrance Old Highway US 2, to Dover Bay Boulevard, go toward Dish Restaurant. Just before Dish, make a right and go go the park.

There will be no August meeting. The next meeting will be Sept. 13 at Ivano’s.

Members and the public are reminded of the 2017 Artists Studio Tour — set for Aug. 11-13, and Aug. 18-20. For more information, go online toarttourdrive.org.
