Chance to tour raffle home set

| June 9, 2017 1:00 AM

Less than 900 tickets remain for the chance to win this year’s secondary-waterfront, grand prize home through the 24th annual North Idaho College Really BIG Raffle. This year’s home, built by students in the NIC Carpentry program, is located in the Mill River neighborhood at 4285 Woodhaven Loop, Coeur d’Alene. A $100 ticket could entitle you to be the new owner of this three-bedroom, two-bath home with private access to a neighborhood waterfront park.

Supporters are encouraged to view the home at the last public open house Sunday, June 11, from noon until 4 p.m. where tickets will be available for purchase. The home has been loaded with upgrades including quartz countertops, skylights, central A/C and a fully landscaped lot.

Additional prizes include a $20,000 car, a $10,000 boat, a $3,500 travel package and a $2,000 shopping spree. Winners can apply cash value of these prizes to the purchase of their choice.

The drawing will be held Wednesday, July 12, on NIC’s main campus. Winners do not need to be present to win any of the major prizes.

Only 5,500 tickets are sold at $100 each. With less than 900 tickets remaining, organizers of the Really BIG Raffle expect the event to sell out soon.

Remaining tickets are available at area Super 1 Foods, Post Falls Yoke’s, Steins Family Foods, Buck Knives, BMC, the NIC Workforce Training Center in Post Falls and the NIC Foundation Office in Coeur d’Alene. Idaho residents can also order online at www.nic.edu/rbr or charge by phone to (208) 769-3271.

The 24th annual Really BIG Raffle is sponsored in part by BMC and Monogram Homes. Proceeds from the Really BIG Raffle are used to fund scholarships, update classroom technology, support programs and encourage outstanding instruction at North Idaho College.
