I attended the open house regarding the proposed Scotchman’s Peaks Wilderness Act at Hope Elementary School. The information provided by the U.S. Forest Service was quite valuable in understanding the proposal.

This is something Sen. James Risch has been working on for years to provide wilderness area where it is lacking. I want to thank Sen. Risch for introducing the wilderness act last year and hope that he will reintroduce it again for action this year. The process is lengthy but well worth the effort.
