Spring turns thoughts to outdoor entertainment

| May 25, 2017 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Spring weather turns our thoughts to the great outdoors. Handy, since the Sandpoint Farmers Market takes place in the environmental venue and Arvid Lundin & Deep Roots are on tap there this Saturday.

The Panida presents the hit comedy ‘Colossal’ starting Friday and, tonight, you can hear two impeccable bands on the Panida stage as part of the SHS Jazz & Concert bands’ spring concert.

Also tonight, Pend Oreille Pedalers Bike Club presents an ‘Ales for Trails’ fundraiser at Idaho Pour Authority to benefit the Water Shed Crest Trail. One more for tonight — the Pend Oreille Players present ‘Legally Blonde’ onstage at the Pend Oreille Playhouse in Newport.

By way of advance notice, be sure to make your reservations to attend the POAC ‘Art Party’ coming up June 3.
