The Bonner County Republican Central Committee wishes to thank everyone who came out to vote in the November election. The voter turnout of 73 percent was impressive.

While the passage of Medicaid expansion is not in line with our platform, the citizens of the county and state made clear choices for Republican representation.

We also want to thank all those who were engaged in the election process. Whether you worked on a campaign, attended a forum, phone banked, door knocked, made donations, or submitted letters to the local newspapers, you contributed to the large turnout and the definitive results. Participation in our Constitutional Republic is imperative.

As we enter into the new legislative session, we need to remain vigilant by contacting our elected officials regarding important issues, and to let them know we are watching how they vote.

We also have other important elections on the horizon. On March 12, 2019, the county polls will be open for your decision on the biennial increase of your school levy.
