Creations hosts New Year's party

SANDPOINT — It’s going to be a family-sized bundle of fun as Creations hosts a New Year’s Eve party Monday.

The event, which will take place from 6:30-9 p.m., will be held at Creations at the Cedar Street Bridge in Sandpoint. The event promises fun for children of all ages, adults and families.

All activities range from $1 to $3 and all the money raised will support Creations’ new discovery play area for 7- to 12-year-olds that the nonprofit is building in 2019

Activities will take place throughout the Cedar Street Bridge. Planned activities include child and adult art projects, including vision board collage for 2019; a scavenger hunt, games, access to Creations discovery play area, snacks, desserts and holiday drinks; and a cupcake walk.

The family friendly event is a partnership between Creations and its neighboring businesses on the Cedar Street Bridge. Area families are invited to join in the fun from 6:30- p.m. and then celebrate the East Coast new year at 9 p.m.

All money raised during the event will directly support the new discovery play area, which stems from requests for a discovery area for older youth. The area is slated to include children’s museum-style interactive activities and games.
