Beach volleyball tournament returning to City Beach

SANDPOINT — Get ready to bump, set and spike on the sand, as Sandpoint Parks and Recreation proudly presents the Sandblast Beach Volleyball Tournament on July 21-22 for men and women ages 16 years-old and up. There are a limited number of teams in the tournament, so sign up early to guarantee your spot.

The tournament will be Men’s and Women’s on Saturday, and Co-ed Doubles on Sunday. Participants will meet at the sand volleyball courts at Sandpoint City Beach for rules by 8:30 a.m., with action set to begin at 9 a.m. each day. Players should be prepared to stay all day.

The fee is $40 per team if pre-registered, and $50/team for late registration from 8-8:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 21. Pre-Register on-line at www.sandpointidaho.gov/parksrecreation.
