Coffee in the Garden set for Thursday

NEWPORT — During the summer, Create is hosting members, friends and neighbors for coffee and home-baked treats in the garden.

If weather does not permit a garden party, the meeting will be in the gallery room.

The gathering is simply to talk gardening and other fun topics and is strictly a social gathering.

The weekly event is held Thursdays from 10 a.m.-noon in the months of July and August.

There is no cost, but as always donations are gratefully accepted in order to keep the lights on. Create is located at 900 W. Fourth in Newport, Wash.
