Festival volunteer picnic is today

SANDPOINT — Interested in helping out at this year’s Festival at Sandpoint?

Come on over to today’s annual volunteer picnic today, July 26, at 5:30 p.m.at the Lakeview Park picnic shelter. It’s a chance to find out about the different volunteer options at the annual summer music series — and enjoy a barbecue with fellow Festival volunteers.

The 36th annual summer concert series takes place Aug. 2-12 at War Memorial Field, showcasing eight nights of music under the stars, on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille, in Sandpoint. 2018 Festival headliners include: Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Amos Lee, ZZ Top, Greensky Bluegrass, Sublime with Rome, Phillip Phillips and Gavin DeGraw, and the Spokane Symphony conducted by Gary Sheldon.
