Cd'A Sweet Lou's holds CCI benefit

SANDPOINT — Come hungry — and thirsty — to Sweet Lou’s Restaurant & Tap House in Coeur d’Alene today, from 5-9 p.m. to help raise money for Canine Companions for Independence.

The Foust family has generously offered this evening to help the Inland Northwest Chapter of Canine Companions for Independence raise funds to provide more skilled assistance dogs to men, women, children, and veterans free of charge. Sweet Lou’s, 601 E. Front Ave. Suite 101, will be donating 20% of their proceeds between 5-9 p.m. to the group.

You’ll meet some of the canines in training and local graduates as well as learn why members are passionate for this organization, why they raise puppies and how you can help them. In addition, there will be some of the group’s stuffed pups available for Christmas gifts.
