Quayle, Hawthorne wed

Taryn Ann Quayle of Sandpoint and Nicholas James Hawthorne of Anaconda, Mont., were married in a private family ceremony on Sept. 5 at Glacier National Park in Montana.

Taryn is the daughter of Bryan and Chris Quayle of Sandpoint and Nicholas is the son of Janie Hawthorne of Anaconda. Among the bridal party were the bride’s sister, Yaicha Wohlschlager of Sandpoint, her brother, Eyan Quayle of Moscow, and the groom’s brother, Michael Hawthorne of Missoula, Mont.

The officiate, Pablo Alvarez, is a dear friend and introduced Nick and Taryn while they were both students at the University of Montana and their photographer, Jon Wick, is a close friend. The couple celebrated with family and close friends at a reception at the Missoula Winery in Missoula, Montana on Sept. 7.

Taryn and Nick met on a film set during college and both graduated from the University of Montana, where Nick received his master of fine arts in media arts and Taryn received multiple degrees in theater and dance. She is currently obtaining her master’s in educational leadership from the University of Montana.

Both teach for Montana Technological University in Butte.

Taryn is also the director of the Academic Center for Excellence at Montana Tech, teaches dance and is choreographer for the Orphan Girl Children’s Theater. Nick also films music festivals and events in the local area.

They enjoy fly-fishing, hiking, traveling, photography, theater, friends and family. They will reside in Montana.
