As usual, a woman is leading the way. Senator Lisa Murkowski from Alaska is the first Republican senator to question why McConnell and Trump do not want any relevant witnesses or documents for the impeachment trial in the Senate. Hopefully her courage will help other Republican senators publicly admit there is no trial without relevant documents and witnesses. Idaho’s two senators have indicated they will do whatever Trump tells them to do. Jim Risch, who is up for election this next year, and Mike Crapo are hoping no one will notice they do not have the courage of Senator Murkowski. Thank you Sen. Lisa Murkowski.
