NAMI Far North sets monthly meeting

SANDPOINT — NAMI Far North Idaho, the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 18.

The meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 1325 Pine St.

After the meeting, sessions will be held by two support groups: one for those living with mental illness and another will be for those who care about them.

All are welcome to attend the free meeting.

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI Far North Idaho is an affiliate of NAMI Idaho. NAMI Far North Idaho and dedicated volunteer members and leaders work tirelessly to raise awareness and provide essential education, advocacy and support group programs for people in our community living with mental illness and their loved ones.
