Scarcity of hospital beds is the larger problem

| August 31, 2021 1:00 AM

This is a brief response to Logan Patterson's letter regarding COVID-19 toxicity.

First of all, your comment is utterly baseless nonsense. There is no evidence whatsoever, from any credible source, to support your outrageous claims, nor can you provide any. This is why the editor added a disclaimer to your letter, citing the FDA and CDC.

Second, if you would turn off conspiracy videos and Facebook, you would not be experiencing this problem. Facebook, YouTube, and Fox are not legitimate news gathering organizations.

Third, the number of dead, expressed in terms of total population, is statistically meaningless. If you actually read the news from Florida and Mississippi, you would know that scarcity of hospital beds and ICUs and medical personnel burnout is actually the larger problem.

I urge you to review news sources from around the world to expand your view of reality. The CBC, the BBC, The Sydney Herald, The Guardian to name a few.

Last, if you still think this is all nonsense, which you do, then tell us what you think COVID actually is. I have asked this of a number of people, and have yet to get an answer, most likely because the answer is likely to identify them as a paranoid schizophrenic.
