POST FALLS — The Newport Hospital and Health Services Foundation held its 14th annual Fore the Health of It Golf Tournament on June 18 and raised over $31,000, breaking the fundraiser's previous record.

Twenty-seven foursomes stepped on The Highlands Golf Course in Post Falls for the 18-hole scramble, which was canceled last year due to COVID-19. A dinner and awards ceremony followed the event.

A record 23 sponsors supported the tournament. The money raised from the event will support NHHSF programs, and Newport Community Hospital’s family birth center labor and delivery room updates.

The Albeni Falls Building Supply foursome of Kevin Monahan, Mike Sandau, Matt Dieter and Ryan Dieter finished with the lowest gross score.

Scott Smith, Steve Stocker, Pierce Jordan and Dennis Raugust of Bohrnsen Stocker Smith Luciani Adamson, PLLC had the lowest net score.
