It's never too late for good financial habits

It’s never too late to learn helpful financial habits. Good habits go a long way in improving your present and your future. Spending a few bucks on a muffin every morning starts to add up after a month.

While I'm not saying you should deprive yourself of everything that brings you joy, you might be surprised to see how much if your money just disappears to small things like this while you aren't paying attention. Learning good fiscal responsibility helps you turn small things like your daily muffin into big things like a car or even a house over time.

Many healthy financial habits weren't taught while I was in school. I continue to learn largely through trial and error to this day.

Looking to learn from others mistakes? Come check out one of the Personal Finance Essentials workshops here at the library. This is a four-part series of workshops taking place over a series of days. These will occur on Oct. 17, 19, 24 and 26 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

We hope to see you there!
