PREP GIRLS LACROSSE: Sandpoint splits in Tri-Cities

TRI-CITIES, Wash. — The Bulldogs took down Kamiakin, 11-6, but fell to Richland-Hanford, 5-4, in a pair of matches at Kamiakin and Richland High on Saturday.

In Game 1 against Kamiakin, Sandpoint used a five-goal second quarter to take the lead and never looked back. Rowan Davis had four goals, Cassidy Aitken three for the Bulldogs. Marin Browne recorded season-highs in both assists (two) and groundballs (four) to help propel Sandpoint to victory.

In Game 2 against Richland-Hanford, the Bombers outscored Sandpoint 3-1 in the second half to complete the upset. Terra Bode and Aitken led the Bulldogs with one goal and one assist each.
